Two workshops with New York city based pole dancer Asia Q (insta @asiaqpoles)

Workshop 1: Divine Lines - 11:30am and 1:15pm (waiting list)
In this spin pole workshop, we explore creating divine lines in a variety of shapes on spin pole. We experiment with different entries and exits from said shapes and how to seamlessly incorporate them into combos and students’ own freestyles. This is a beginner/intermediate workshop and students should be able to confidently and consistently climb on spin pole.

Workshop 2: Flowing in Cursive: Transitions - 3pm till 4:30pm (waiting list)
In this workshop, we focus on and refine minute details to create smooth transitions, breathe new life into seemingly simple pathways, and prompt questions that will inspire and empower students’ individual practices. This is an open level workshop, though students should be able to confidently and consistently climb on spin pole. This is not a class for first-time pole students.

Asia Q (they/them) is a New York City, USA-based pole artist and instructor. They have been pole dancing for four years and teaching for two. They are certified in Xpert levels 1 & 2, 3 & 4, Pre and Post Natal, and CPR. They specialize in aerial spin pole and their dance style is described by friends as fluid, tender, and intentional. They hope to empower their students and give them the tools to discover their own unique style through encouraging exploration.
