'Big in Antwerp because we decided to stay small'

Who?
Poledance Antwerp was established in January 2018 and is still run by Marleen Cousin who teaches most classes.
She started taking pole dance classes at studio Pole Tricks in February 2012. As a former ballet dancer and dedicated ashtangi, she discovered very fast how much she loved athletic pole. After successfully graduating for several teacher trainings including exotic dance and athletic pole (ElevatED trainings ‘Pole 1&2' & 'Flexibility Instructor', Xpert training 'Pole 3&4' and ‘Formation Professionelle Exotic Dance’ at former Studio Françoise in Paris), 3 participations in the Belgian Pole Dance Championship (2015, 2016 and 2019) ànd following f2f workshops with numerous renomated poledancers (Andrea Ryff, Kirsty Sellars, Marion Crampe (2x), Bendy Kate, Kira Noire, Dan Rosen, Natasha Wang, Anastasia Skukhtorova, Doris Arnold, Stephanie Durant, Nicolas Casanova, Marco Oranje, Dineke Minten, Lara Michaels, Jordan Kensley, Tatjana Van Onna, Sasha Meow, Britt Bloem, Marlo Fisken...) worldwide, she started to teach in 2018 when establishing her own pole studio in the heart of Antwerp city.
The PDAntwerp teacher team currently consists of 8 certified instructors: Dorien, Lieze, Helena, Margot, Aurora, Abigail (flex & pole) Sigrun and Marleen.

Where?
Our sunny pole dance studio is located in the city center of Antwerp. Classes take place in Kleine Danszaal 2, on the second floor of Kavka, Oudaan 14, 2000 Antwerpen.
The studio has 4 X-pole competition poles measuring 4.20 meters tall, to practise.
This allows maximum 8 people per class, and you’re guaranteed a personal and safe approach.

Timetable?
Our timetable offers 5-student classes that last 60 minutes, and 8-people classes that last 75 minutes on a daily base.
Three pole classes are scheduled every evening from monday till friday, starting 5:45pm till 10pm.
Lunchtime pole dance classes are offered 4 weekdays (from 11:45am till 1pm, excl. wednesday).
We offer pole dance classes for athletic polers: spinning & static pole, workshops 'Exotic Pole' and private classes on saturdays. In addition, we're having a weekly flexibility class every tuesday.

Our studio uses a module system of 11 weekly classes -starting in either January, April or September- plus an adapted summer schedule in July & August. We don’t offer individual/loose classes. If you're having a previous pole dance experience you can join us anytime. Open spots in several groups of a non-beginner level: check our timetable for more information.
Every polenewbie starts with beginner pole dance classes at the beginning of a new series and as a series progresses, you naturally evolve into a real Pole Ninja. As an absolute beginner, we only allow you to take pole dance classes at the start of a new series of lessons.
